Our weekly online clothing auctions feature thousands of new and pre-loved lots from major UK retailers, designer brands and clearance suppliers. Most lots are individual items, not bulk pallets, so you can bid on the specific piece you want, in the size you need.

You don't need a business or trade account, anyone can register a free account and bid on any lot.

How our clothing auctions work

Place a bid online any time before the auction closes. You can bid manually in the minimum increments shown, or set a maximum bid and our system will bid on your behalf up to your limit. The highest bid when the timer ends wins.

To avoid last-second sniping, lots automatically extend by 2 minutes if a bid is placed in the closing minute, giving every bidder a fair chance to respond.

UK-wide postal delivery

Most clothing, shoe and accessory lots are marked Postal and can be shipped anywhere in mainland UK. A handful of bulk or oversized lots (multi-box shipments, for example) are marked Collection, each lot page clearly shows the fulfilment option before you bid.

Buyer's premium and VAT apply on top of the hammer price. Current rates are shown on every lot page so you know the total cost upfront.

At Simon Charles, our weekly clothing auctions feature thousands of new and pre-loved lots, including branded trainers, designer coats, handbags, wedding dresses and kids' shoes, with bidding typically starting at £1 per lot.

Can I get clothing and shoes delivered, or do I have to collect?

The vast majority of our clothing, shoe and accessory lots are marked Postal and can be shipped anywhere in mainland UK. Only a small number of bulk or oversized clothing lots are collection-only. The fulfilment option is shown clearly on every lot page before you bid.

What sizes do you have?

Sizing varies week to week. Adult trainers typically range from UK 3 to UK 12, women's clothing from XS/UK 4 through to XL/UK 22, men's clothing from S/Small to XXL/Large, and kids' shoes from toddler sizes 4–6 through to older-child UK 13/1+. Each lot title and description shows the exact size, always check before bidding, as auction lots are non-returnable.

How much do branded trainers and designer coats typically sell for?

Hammer prices vary by demand, brand and condition, but most lots start at £1 and many branded trainers sell for £10–£60, well below retail. Designer outerwear like Canada Goose and The North Face typically attracts more competitive bidding and higher final prices, though still significantly below high-street prices.
