Q: Can I collect or do you deliver furniture?

Furniture, beds, mattresses and large appliances are collection only from our saleroom due to their size. Many buyers use third-party couriers like Shiply, AnyVan or local man-and-van services. Smaller items such as rugs, lighting and kitchen accessories are marked Postal and can be shipped UK-wide.

You don't need a trade account or a business to bid. Anyone can register a free account and place bids on any lot, there's no buyer's deposit required.

How our furniture auctions work

Place a bid online any time before the auction closes. You can bid manually in increments shown on each lot, or set a maximum bid and let our system bid on your behalf up to your limit. The highest bid when the timer ends wins.

Each lot page shows the current bid, the minimum next bid, and the time remaining. To avoid disappointment from last-second sniping, lots automatically extend by 2 minutes if a bid is placed in the final minute.

Collection or postal delivery

Most furniture, bed and large appliance lots are collection only from our saleroom, these items are bulky, boxed and often palletised. Smaller items like rugs, lighting, kitchen accessories and small appliances are marked Postal and can be shipped within the UK.

Many buyers arrange third-party couriers (such as Shiply, AnyVan or local man-and-van services) for furniture lots. Each lot page clearly shows the fulfilment option before you bid.

Buyer's premium and VAT apply on top of the hammer price. Current rates are shown on every lot page.
