What's in our garden and patio auctions

Our weekly garden auctions feature a rotating mix of garden equipment, outdoor furniture, structures and tools. Stock comes from clearance, surplus, customer return, ex-display and end-of-season channels listed by our vendors. Volume tends to be higher in spring and summer, but garden lots feature year-round.

Lawnmower and grass-care auctions

Lawnmower auctions regularly feature petrol, electric corded, cordless and hover-collect lawnmowers from brands including Yardforce, Flymo (including the EasiGlide Plus and Glide Plus 360V hover models), grass trimmers and strimmers. Plus trimmer line, lawn feed, replacement spools and accessories.

Gazebo, shed and garden structure auctions

Garden structures and shade auctions cover pop-up gazebos (including the Blumfeldt Mondo Dual 3x3), party tents, awnings, sun canopies, walk-in greenhouses (Outsunny polycarbonate models and Divchi tiered greenhouses), small 4-tier greenhouses and garden sheds (Keter Manor and Store It Out range).

Garden furniture and patio auctions

Garden and patio furniture auctions feature dining sets, bistro sets, sun loungers, garden benches, cushion storage boxes (Pacific Lifestyle Rhode Island and similar), parasols, parasol bases and parasol weights.

BBQ, outdoor cooking and heating

Outdoor entertainment kit appears regularly, including portable camping gas stoves (BlöStM and others), piglet roasting spits, BBQs, fire pits and outdoor heaters (such as the Klarstein Cosmic Beam 3000W wall-mounted heater). Popular through spring and summer.

Swimming pool and hot tub auctions

Swimming pools and hot tubs features inflatable pools (Sloosh, Bestway and similar), pool accessories and seasonal hot tubs when in stock.

Planters, raised beds and growing

Rectangular plastic raised garden bed planters, modular planters in various sizes, brown plastic planting boxes, pots, growing mixes (UKGrow potting soil, Growcery carnivorous mix), seed compost and rodent-proofing mesh for raised beds.

Watering, irrigation and pond

Garden hoses and expanding hoses, Hozelock compact reels, Rainbird in-ground sprinkler systems, watering cans, plus pond accessories including Blagdon ClearView pond cover nets.

Hand tools and garden equipment

Hand tools and equipment covers spades (including Bulldog Tools), forks, secateurs, shears, folding garden kneelers and general gardening hand kit.

Storage, bins and outdoor organisation

Keter Store It Out Max garden storage boxes, Klarstein and Blumfeldt Binsafe bin boxes (typically holding 3 bins), Pacific Lifestyle galvanised steel cushion boxes, RAM garden waste bags and other outdoor storage solutions.

Outdoor lighting, ornaments and decor

Outdoor lighting includes solar lights, string lights and patio lighting. Garden ornaments feature decorative statues and seasonal pieces. Fencing and landscaping and garden materials sub-categories cover fencing panels, gravel, paving and ground-cover materials when listed.

Bird care and wildlife

Bird feeders (including squirrel-proof fat ball feeders), wildlife boxes and bird care products appear regularly.

You don't need a business or trade account to bid. Anyone can register a free account and place bids on any lot.

How our garden auctions work

Place a bid online any time before the auction closes. You can bid manually in the minimum increments shown, or set a maximum bid and our system will bid on your behalf up to your limit. The highest bid when the timer ends wins. Lots auto-extend by 2 minutes if a bid is placed in the closing minute.

Collection or postal delivery

Smaller items, hand tools, hoses, garden ornaments, planters and most accessories are marked Postal and shipped UK-wide. Larger items, including lawnmowers, gazebos, garden furniture, sheds, greenhouses, hot tubs, BBQs and patio storage, are typically Collection only from our saleroom because of their size or weight. The fulfilment option is shown clearly on every lot page.

Many buyers arrange third-party couriers (such as Shiply or AnyVan) for large collection-only items like sheds, greenhouses and lawnmowers.

Buyer's premium and VAT apply on top of the hammer price. Current rates are shown on every lot page.
