I've forgotten my password, what do I need to do?
If you forget the password used to sign in to our website then simply click on the 'sign in' tab at the top of the page and select 'forgotten password' then enter your email address and await the email with further instructions, we will have you bidding again in no time.
Why is my account blocked?
Accounts are usually blocked due to not paying an outstanding invoice. Payment needs to be made within 24 hours of an auction finishing time.

How do I delete my account?
To delete/close your account please send a message to enquiries@simoncharles.com.
How do I register for an account?
In order to bid and buy with us you need to register for an account. This is a very simple process and can be done in just a few steps. Simply click register or sign up on the main page of the website. We ask you to fill in a few simple details.
You will need to enter a valid UK phone number and an email address to which we will send activation codes. Once we have confirmed these details you are able to bid with us.
What is your returns procedure?
1) contact
Please contact Simon Charles through enquiries@simoncharles or by filling out the contact form.
within this contact please provide your name, invoice number and the reason you would like to return this/these items.
2) agreement
Simon Charles will then assess whether or not they will accept the product as a return, this will be based on the terms and conditions of sale that both parties have agreed upon and whether these have been breached by the sale of the item.
Please do not return goods before you have an agreement in place to do so. If goods are returned without an agreement and are subsequently deemed to not have been mis-sold then the postage costs of the items being re-sent out will be applicable to the bidder.
3) return
Once it has been agreed that goods are to be returned to Simon Charles, please return them to;
Simon Charles Returns Centre, Latham Close, Bredbury Industrial Estate, Stockport, Cheshire, SK6 2SD Within 5 working days of agreement.
Inside the parcel please include; your name, invoice number and ticket number that relates to the return, if these are not provided then we will be unable to process the refund, as we will be unable to check the goods.
If agreed Simon Charles will refund the reasonable postage cost of any returned items.
What is a bidding cap / do I need to pay a deposit?
New users to the Simon Charles website will have a bidding cap in place on their account.
The user cap is set to £200 by default, and takes into account all bids a user places, including max bids.
The total hammer price of all lots the user is currently winning is titled "Current Total Bids" in the account & security page of your account.
If the cap is exceeded then you will need to pay a deposit. The deposit is £205 which includes a non-refundable £5 admin fee. This deposit can not be used for paying for won lots, but can be requested back by contacting us at enquiries@simoncharles.com.
Your deposit refund will be forfeited if you fail to make payment on won lots.
