The Sony PSHX500 encapsulates the very best of old and new technologies by being able to record from vinyl to DSD Hi-Res Audio. Equipped with an ADC (Analogue to Digital Convertor) the Sony plugs into your laptop or PC via USB, where discs are recorded in High Resolution. With file quality up to PCM 192kHz/24-bit or DSD 5.6MHz, your stored records now have the potential to sound every bit as good as the finest quality digital audio.

Enjoy your records - any time at home or on the move
Once you?ve recorded your vinyl to Hi-Res audio files you can enjoy them in many places. Upload to a Walkman or other Hi-Res portable player and you can take the music with you or play it through your car stereo. Alternatively, store the music on a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device and you?ll be able to effortless access all your records via a huge range of wireless, network connected music devices, such as Sonos or Heos.

Built in phono stage lets you connect up to any AUX input
Thanks to the built-in phono stage, playing records directly through your hi-fi is easy. Simply connect up to any line level AUX input and let the Sony equalise the sound to the correct level.
