Test Specifications:

• 100% waterproof: product has been tested under Water Absorption Test ASTM D-570. In which the sample was submerged in water at 23C for 24hrs to see what % of weight has increased due to water absorption and the weight of the product increased by only 2.7%. Researchers usually suggest that this ranges between 0.9% - 4%. Water absorption increases with more wood content.

• Fireproof (self-extinguishing): UL 94, Standard for safety of flammability of plastic materials for parts in devices & appliances testing. The standard determines the material’s tendency to either extinguish or spread the flame once the specimen has been ignited.

According to the test classifications ranging from lowest to highest retardant my product stood at V-0, which means on vertical specimen the burning should stop within 10 seconds and it stopped within 3secs of flame removal.
