Washing machines and washer dryers

The current catalogue is led by a large parcel of AEG washing machines and washer dryers, including ProSense AutoDose and ProSteam Universal Dose models in 9kg and 10kg capacities. Tumble dryers

Energy-efficient heat pump tumble dryers feature alongside the washers, with AEG SensiDry 8kg and 9kg models among the current lots. Heat pump dryers tend to draw trade interest from buyers supplying the rental and refurbishment markets. Specifications are stated in each lot description.

Fridges and fridge freezers

Cold appliances run from integrated AEG fridges to tall frost free fridge freezers, including AEG TwinTech and Electrolux ColdSense and TwinTech ranges, many around 177cm. Both integrated and freestanding formats appear, with the dimensions and door layout shown on the lot page.

Built-in ovens and cooker hoods

Built-in cooking appliances include AEG SenseCook and SteamPro ovens with pyrolytic and aqua clean options, plus a CombiQuick combination microwave oven. Cooker hoods span AEG ExtractionTech and Hob2Hood models in 60cm and 90cm widths, with the occasional stainless steel splashback. Microwaves

Freestanding and built-in microwaves appear across the category, with recent lots including a Samsung 23L solo microwave and a Hisense built-in model. Wattage and capacity are listed where known by the vendor.

Small kitchen appliances and countertop gadgets

Bidding typically starts at £1 per lot.

Are the appliances new or used?

We list a mix. Many lots are new and boxed from clearance, surplus, end-of-line or ex-display channels. Some are unboxed but unused, some are customer returns, and some are pre-owned. Built-in white goods listed for ex-display and showroom clearance are typically unused. Every lot description states the condition as supplied by the vendor, including any known issues.

How much do white goods like washing machines and dishwashers typically sell for at auction?

Hammer prices vary widely by brand, model, condition and demand. Branded built-in dishwashers, washing machines and washer-dryers from AEG, Bosch and Neff have recently sold in the £30 to £60 range in our auctions, though prices can go higher for premium models or when multiple buyers compete. Cooker hoods and built-in microwaves typically sell for £1 to £25. Final prices are usually well below new retail, which is why kitchen fitters, landlords and developers use auction as a sourcing route.

Can I inspect a washing machine, dishwasher or cooker hood before bidding?

Condition details and any known faults are listed in the lot description as supplied by the vendor. Viewings are available so you can satisfy yourself before bidding, with viewing details shown on each lot page. You can also use the "Ask a question" function on the lot page to send any questions about a specific lot.

Do white goods come with hoses, plugs, fittings and warranties?

This varies by lot. Ex-display and clearance white goods are often supplied with all original fittings (hoses, plugs, fixing kits), but customer returns may be missing items. Lot descriptions state what's included where known by the vendor. Manufacturer warranties may or may not apply depending on the lot's source and history. If a specific fitting or warranty is essential, use the "Ask a question" function on the lot page before bidding.

Can I get a washing machine or dishwasher delivered, or do I have to collect?

White goods (washing machines, washer-dryers, dishwashers, cookers, ovens, hobs, cooker hoods, fridges and freezers) are Collection only from our saleroom due to their size and weight. Smaller countertop appliances and kitchen gadgets are typically marked Postal and shipped UK-wide. Many buyers arrange third-party couriers (such as Shiply or AnyVan) for collection-only white goods.

Do I need a business or trade account to bid?

No. Anyone can register a free account and bid on any lot, with no trade account, business registration or buyer's deposit required. Kitchen fitters, landlords, property developers, home buyers, resellers and gift buyers are all welcome.
