Description
Vickers Armstrongs Limited Edition Hand Assembled Pierson Atmosphere Rose men’s watch is named after the company’s chief designer Rex Pierson. A certified innovator, Rex was responsible for designing the famed Vickers Vimy, which is renowned for being the first aircraft to navigate the Atlantic without stopping, and this ties into the perpetual nature of time itself.
It is powered by the Seiko Quartz Chronograph Movement that highlights the continuous process of ingenuity that impressed Vickers Armstrongs across the industry. The curved-oblong stainless rose gold IP case houses an ocean-blue dial with Seconds, Minutes, Date, and 24-Hour counters arranged like cockpit instruments. Surrounding it, the tachymeter chapter ring pays reference to the Vimy’s groundbreaking voyage.
The Vickers Armstrongs logo engraved stainless steel caseback and rose gold stainless steel bracelet honour the rich ambition of the company’s designers that helped achieve feats that had never been witnessed before and set the tone for future developments.
