Description
During World War I, Mann Egerton were given a loan to increase their production of aircraft to contribute to the war effort. Taking the opportunity, the company built an aircraft hangar on Cromer road in Norwich, and this is why the Limited Edition Mann Egerton Hand Assembled Cromer Counterspy in Two-Tone Gold men’s watch is named. What took place at this hangar proved immensely beneficial to the conflict and it allowed British forces to counteract plans made by their enemies to get closer to victory.
Respecting the need to pay close attention to the time to travel, the chronograph movement allows for precise reading. This operation combines with the tachymeter chapter ring to measure speed baked on time and distance travelled. The victory-gold dial is decorated with Minutes, Hours and Seconds counters and is surrounded by luminous indices which match the luminous hands.
The Mann Egerton logo-engraved stainless steel caseback serves as an undeniable stamp of authenticity. Complementing this, the two-tone IP case and two-tone bracelet demonstrate the incredible reserve and determination that inspired troops and a nation even through the darkest hours.
